Things you should know about our food and wine tours

As a tour operator, our job is to take away the hassle of organising a great day out. We’ve chosen the best Gold Coast and Brisbane has to offer for fine dining, fine wine, boutique spirits, craft beers, and good old-fashioned heart racing fun!

If you’d like to ask a question or make a wine tour booking, brewery tour, or any of Our Tours, we’d love to hear from you. We’ll do our best to make your dream tour come true.

We pick up and drop off from one location. This can be a residential address or a commercial venue between Tweed Heads and Brisbane City.

Queensland Transport regulations do not allow the consumption of alcohol on buses. They are very strict on this and are often around the wineries checking for any breach of the law.

All road rules are policed. This includes the wearing of seatbelts, at all times.

While there is no set dress standard, guest should take into consideration the climate which is often between 6 to 10 degrees cooler on Mt Tamborine than in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast. Even in summer, it does not hurt to take a light jacket. Some of the grounds at the wineries are not completely level so it’s best to avoid high heels and wear comfortable footwear.  For those choosing the more physical tours such as Wiking and Adrenaline Tours, appropriate clothing for the activities should be worn.

Wine is not included with your meal unless special arrangements are made in advance. There will be extra costs if you want to include wine with your meal. You are more than welcome to purchase wine to have with your meal.

You can purchase wine from any of the venues we visit during your tour. A wine tour is a great opportunity to taste wines you may not usually buy. Remember you are visiting boutique wineries whose wines are usually not available at local bottle shops.

We understand there may be a variety of reasons someone may not be drinking on the tour. Just let us know when booking and we will adjust the price of the tour for these guests.

You can either book online via our website or directly with us by phone or email.

To secure your date, a deposit equivalent to one full paying fare is required either by credit card or direct deposit. It’s usually easier to book directly with us if we need to adjust the tour or cost as the booking program does not have this flexibility.

When booking, give us an estimate of numbers attending. We need final numbers and balance of payment for your tour two weeks prior to your event.

You can also advise us of any special dietary requirements at this time.

Depending on the size of your group we use either an 8, 12 or 24-seater vehicle. The cost of your tour does not change for the different size vehicles unless you want an individual service for just 2 people using our luxury Elgrand eight-seater. Please contact us for details of this limousine style tour.

We can run most tours with a minimum of four people depending on the availability of our Elgrand eight-seater.

We are more than happy to adjust tours to cater for your group. Naturally if the changes attract extra or less costs, these changes will be included with your adjusted tour price.
